Next Year’s Call Of Duty Could Bring Classic Modern Warfare 2 Maps To Warzone

Call of Duty Warzone A lot has been going on in the Call of Duty universe. While Call of Duty Vanguard prepares for a release later this month, we have now learned that next year’s installment will likely be called Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, with the roman numerals helping you not confuse it with 2009’s much-loved offering of the same name.

And we’re now hearing that this upcoming game could end up bringing a fresh Warzone map based on classic Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer arenas. According to VGC, Infinity Ward has quite a few surprises lined up for fans of the series.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II could also introduce a new game mode that has never been seen in the series before. There have even been murmurs of the game being created with a ‘moral system’ this time around. Revamped weapons, weapon-jamming, as well as blood and gore, will also form part of the experience apparently.

Call of Duty Vanguard is this year’s entry to the series and is ready for a November 5 release on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Unlike its competitor Battlefield 2042, this one embraces a World War II setting featuring skirmishes scattered across the globe. And unlike the Battlefiled game again, this one comes with a single-player campaign in tow.

Apart from that, a Zombies mode will also be present in the game. Its story will act as a prequel to Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode and will feature an occult setting. While the main game is being developed by Sledgehammer, Treyarch has been handed the responsibility of creating the Zombies mode.

Call Of Duty 2022 or Modern Warfare II is still far away from being unveiled but we’ll have more on it if additional details leak.
