Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is about to receive a fresh batch of new content but Ubisoft has kept things quite mysterious with regards to what it will be. Prime among the new additions will be a free game activity called Tombs of the Fallen that arrives on November 9.
Tombs of the Fallen was exposed through a leak that occurred not too long ago. A couple of PlayStation trophies for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla were leaked and ended up revealing the upcoming DLC. It had come to light that the two trophies would be awarded to those who completed one or three Tombs of the Fallen activities.
What those activities will be still hasn’t been revealed though. Theories being speculated include a return to the series’ underground platforming locations from the Ezio era and even the possibility of getting some answers on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s ”˜Odin runes.’
The Tombs of the Fallen DLC will be doled out for free through the game’s title update 1.4.0. The other contents of this update are also unknown, but what we do know is that this big change to the version number could mean it would bring significant new features. If you remember, update number 1.2 of this Assassin’s Creed game had introduced Ireland, whereas number 1.3 had brought in Paris.
On November 11, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is scheduled to get the Oskoreia Festival limited-time event, which will last up to December 2. Again, there’s no word on what it will bring with it. Sometime in December, title update 1.4.1 will be released for the game.
2022 is likely to see the launch of a new Assassin’s Creed game but details about it are not available at the moment. We’ll bring you more on it when new information is out.
