Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, says report

A listing for a Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy has popped up on a retail website, and this collection seems to be aimed only at the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Apparently slated to arrive as early as on May 17, this trilogy does not contain remastered versions but they are the same original titles released long back.

A Best Buy listing states that the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy will be made available at just 30 USD (approx Rs 2000). It will of course include Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011).

One would expect all DLC packs of these games to also be included in the list, but only Modern Warfare 2’s Stimulus Package DLC will be doled out apparently. It includes a set of five multiplayer maps to take advantage of.

CoD MW Trilogy

If May 17 is indeed the release date of this collection, Activision should already have announced it. The fact that it hasn’t tells us that it may have been delayed further. As for the authenticity of this pack, the fact that a legit box art also exists tells us that it’s pretty much real.

Besides, according to Video Gamer, a similar listing was also spotted on Amazon UK last month. A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is slated to arrive along with Infinity Warfare this year for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC. This one will be included in the premium versions of this year’s CoD game and won’t be sold separately.

We’ll have more on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy as soon as new details about it are out into the open.
