Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Season Pass will fetch you four DLC packs at a discount

Those of you who’ve played Borderlands games in the past will know that Season Pass content is a huge deal, which is why the fact that the series’ The Prequel entry will be getting it as well comes as pleasant news. New characters, missions, challenges and more will be added by the game’s DLC packs which will all be made available at a discounted overall price of 30 USD (approx. Rs 1820) to Season Pass owners.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Each of the four content packs will have its price set at 10 USD (approx. Rs 600), so purchasing all of them separately will lead to a loss of 10 USD. That is why, all those who’ll be buying all four DLC packs for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel are advised to go for the Season Pass. Those who pre-order the main game will be granted a Shock Drop Slaughter Pit content package, but this DLC won’t form part of the Season Pass’ offerings.

The upcoming game will be set somewhere between the events portrayed in the first two titles from the series. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will retain all the elements which have made those offerings such big hits. It will be a first-person shooter at heart, but will come laced with RPG elements as well. Moreover, it will embrace the same four-player co-op model that was used in the other two games. It’s supposed to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 14.
