An Injustice: Gods Among Us Season Pass has been revealed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Discounts on a total of 4 DLC characters, as well as extra skins for existing ones will be offered by this scheme which will start being doled out on the game’s release date. Although, no such plans have been disclosed for the Wii U variant of the title.
The Season Pass for Injustice: Gods Among Us will have its price fixed at 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 815) on PSN and at 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live. Now technically, this cost should apply to three DLC characters, but instead, the bonus ensures that players will get four at the value of three. And moreover, a Flash Point skin pack has also been thrown into the mix. It will grant alternate costumes for stock fighters, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Deathstroke.
This upcoming game from the developer of the much acclaimed Mortal Kombat, NetherRealm Studios, is a fighting title that is being created using the Unreal Engine 3 technology. It is all set to feature battles between DC Comics characters. And while multiplayer gameplay will be made available for players to indulge in, the title’s major point of interest will be its unique single-player experience which is being instilled with a standalone story with the help of writers from DC Comics.
The game’s campaign of will make use of a cinematic narrative instead of going for the traditional ladder-based model adopted by most fighting titles. The story begins when the destruction of Metropolis, leading to the death of Superman’s wife, Lois Lane, their unborn child and his best friend, Jimmy Olsen. All this happens at the behest of the Joker, thus propelling Superman to form a new world order. This in turn leads to heroes standing in opposition to each other. A fight then breaks out between folks from Superman’s regime and those from Batman’s faction.

Gamers waiting for the title can start looking forward to April 16 when it will be launched for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
