Boasting of the largest roster of fighters in Tekken history, this title will be seen hitting the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the week of September 10, 2012.
Four DLC characters – Michelle Chang, Angel, Kunimitsu and Ancient Ogre, have been confirmed to be doled out in the form of pre-order incentives. Gamers in the UK who book their copies via Shopto.net will be proffered with Michelle Chang and Angel characters, whereas those who reserve the title through Zavvi.com will receive access to Kunimitsu and Ancient Ogre.
Fans will even be able to purchase the ‘We are Tekken’ edition of this title exclusively from GAME stores in the UK. This collector’s version comes equipped with an exclusive metal case, the original soundtrack of the game, an additional music CD with remixes, an art book with more than 200 pages and a behind the scenes video with Harada San and other special guests.
Developed by Namco Bandai Games, this new iteration of the much loved Tekken series features solo fighter vs. tag-team battles as well as one-on-one battles. Moreover, the title even comprises a new Pair Play feature, wherein a maximum of four players can each assume control of a character in team battle matches.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released worldwide in the week of September 10, with its European release date falling on September 14. It can be pre-ordered currently through various retailers at a price of 39.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 3,495).
