Last month, EA uncovered the next chapter in the Need for Speed: Shift series. Gearing up for another rush of simulating racing action, the company has now revealed the Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition. The announcement also disclosed some bonus items which can be acquired by pre-ordering the title.
To enhance the driving experience in this game, the upcoming iteration has been suffused with a powerful engine, night racing, advanced helmet camera and immersive visual appeal. Besides, it will also display genuine degradation of tracks and cars for a stimulating experience. Players who book a copy of the game can lay their hands on three unique cars namely the Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15), the Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV and the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 with immediate effect.
Embedded with a new feature dubbed Autolog which made its first appearance in Hot Pursuit, the title is said to unfold a realistic race embraced by 40 career events. Gamers can jump into Single-Type race events for an intense chase in the same make of cars while Old vs. New Challenge stages classic vehicles against their contemporaries. The game will also unfurl Manufacturer Showdown events which roll out a battle between the most iconic cars.
Slated appropriately for the next spring break, the title will hit stores for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
