Sega Uncovers Total War: Shogun 2 Standard, Limited and Collector’s Editions

After turning around the nominal sequence of its next Total War game, Sega has been busy offering a finishing touch to the title. The company has now announced that Total War: Shogun 2 will occupy store shelves in three editions namely Standard, Limited and Collector’s.

The gaming giant has stated that the Standard Total War: Shogun 2 Edition will extend the core experience of the title whereas the Limited Edition comes packed with a distinctive playable faction dubbed The Hattori Clan. Additionally, this assortment will unfurl a supplementary battle scenario referred to as Nagashino. It also compiles an arsenal for gamers’ online avatar while enabling players to kick off their campaign on the web with a bagful of XPs.

Those who wish to lay their hands on Total War merchandise can opt for the Collector’s Edition of the title. Enclosed in a bamboo box imitation, this package contains a Shogun 2 art book along with Takeda Shingen’s figurine. In addition, it will also render the content which has been encompassed in the Limited Edition bundle.

Total War: Shogun 2 has been scheduled to see the light of day in March 2011.
