My editor learned it the hard way. She lost the bet and she had to treat the whole office with pizzas. So when we ordered, an unexpected guest arrived with the foodstuff, it was the “Zapizza – The Gaming Pizza Combo” CD.
So we decided to check it out. The games that we found in the CD are Cricket, City Magnate, Aqua Marine and Snowy Puzzle Island. Cricket is one of the tolerable games in the CD though, the others, Aqua Marine is somewhat similar to Pac-Man (but not as good!) while Snowy Puzzle Island is for toddlers. The other game that we liked from the CD was City Magnate. The game is like Monopoly and is a total time pass. In fact, we are still playing it!
Along with the games, Zapak has also put their advertisements inside the CD. The Sholay viral ad was weird but very funny in the end. They have also included some four Zapak ringtones, which are really cool.
We are putting the screenshots for two of the games, but anyway it was quite a surprise to get the CD. Earlier our Delhi correspondent had reported about the Zapizzas. Click here to read that post.
