The popular open world adventure game, Far Cry 4, has been treated to its latest DLC dubbed Escape from Durgesh Prison which is now available for download. The new content offers both co-op and single player gameplay and it’ll also put forth a challenge like no other in the region of Kyrat.
Far Cry 4 Escape from Durgesh Prison is basically a test of skill and how well you know Kyrat as well as your surroundings. The plot basically has Ajay and Hurk wake up in Yuma’s prison with absolutely no weapons at their disposal. You then set out to complete challenges which will let you unlock skills and weapons that are scattered all across the map.
And once you’ve managed to do so, a final assault on Yuma’s forces will take place. With limited armory at your disposal, you’ll need to strategize the best way to complete goals. But there’s one small catch, this gamemode has a timer and it also introduces permadeath. This means that if you fail, it’s all the way back to the start of the mission for you.

And to make things competitive, leaderboards are being introduced. In recent news, Far Cry 4 customers on the Xbox One with a digital copy of the game were locked out for more than 24 hours. The reason for the issue was due to the title getting unlisted from the Xbox Store and while the problem has been solved, Microsoft is yet to provide a definitive explanation as to why the issue took place.
The Far Cry 4 Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC is available for $9.99, while those with the Season Pass can get the new content for free.
