The Walking Dead – Episode 3 Hitting North America Today

Long Road Ahead, the much awaited new episode for The Walking Dead is all set to go live today in North American territories, as confirmed by Telltale Games. This release date however, doesn’t apply to the European and international PSN services, as the episode is still in submission at SCEE.

Gamers eager to further explore the tale of Lee Everett and his fellow survivors will be able to grab the new episode through PSN as soon as today’s PS Store update arrives. It will be released for the Xbox 360, PC and Mac tomorrow. For the latter two platforms, gamers will be able to download it via Steam, Origin, Amazon PC Downloads, GameStop and GameFly.

“The stakes get even higher in episode three as Lee, Clem, and the group are forced to move on from the motel. The fallout from treachery within the group will lead to some shocking moments, and – depending on the choices you make – one of the hardest things that Lee has ever had to do,” Alan Johnson, Community Manager at Telltale Games, wrote on the developer’s official blog.

Tomorrow will also see the second episode being launched for the game’s iOS version. Dubbed Starved for Help, it will be available in the form of an in-app purchase at a price of 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 280) or as part of a 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 538) Multi-Pack bundle which will allow gamers to download episodes 2 to 5, as and when they release.

The Walking Dead – Episode 3 will sell on PSN at a price of 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 280), while on Xbox Live, it will go for 400 Microsoft Points. PC and Mac users need to purchase a 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,115) Season Pass in order to download all the episodes.
