Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain coming in early 2015?

Is early 2015 the time frame finalized by Konami for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date? That’s what a message from the publisher has suggested. While its prologue, MGS V: Ground Zeroes has been launched for multiple platforms already, this substantial main game still remains without an official release date.

A post on Reddit is the bringer of this latest piece news. A person by the username Hitzkolpf registered their copy Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes which triggered the above-pictured message to be displayed. As can be seen in it, the image states that the registration has granted the gamer access to free DLC for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The message then asks the gamer to return in early 2015 to claim their DLC.

MGS V: Ground Zeroes is out now for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It offers the series’ familiar stealth-based action-adventure gameplay, but blends it with an open world model. The game is just set to be an introduction of things to come in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain which is 200 times larger than Ground Zeroes.

While MGS V: Ground Zeroes can be bought now in North America, it will be released in other territories in the days to come. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the other hand can now be expected to hit the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in early 2015.
