Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will indeed be coming to India, pricing details out

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the prologue to the much awaited MGS V: The Phantom Pain will indeed be released in India, as opposed to earlier reports. The game will be arriving for the PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 21, and will have its price set at Rs 1,999 for all three platforms. This Fox Engine-powered offering is also supposed to hit the Xbox One worldwide, but since the Microsoft console still remains unreleased here in India, a launch for it is out of the question.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Konami titles were hitherto being distributed in the country by Origin Games, but a while back, the company announced that it will no longer be doing that. Now, through a press release, E-xpress has announced itself to be the new distributor of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and presumably of all future Konami offerings. Confirmation on the latter is now being awaited.

This game is being directed by none other than Hideo Kojima himself, and is being touted to be a showcase of what Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be like. It has been aimed to familiarize gamers with the open world approach that’s new to the series. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will also act as a showcase of the new Fox Engine developed by Kojima Productions.

Like we said, Indian gamers eager to get into Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be able to do so on March 21.
