Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC could let you play as Blackbeard

The first Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC could very well let you play as the notorious English pirate, Blackbeard, albeit in the game’s multiplayer mode. A recent leak has given away information regarding an achievement which hints towards the presence of the character in a future DLC. However, nothing official on this matter is available at the moment.

Apparently titled Blackbeard’s Wrath, the DLC is set to infuse the title with at least three new character classes for its online multiplayer mode. Among them will be The Jaguar, The Orchid and Blackbeard himself. Like we said, the information comes through leaked achievements which have come via PS3Trophies.org.

Queen Anne’s Revenge is the name of the achievement which concerns Blackbeard, asking gamers to perform an acrobatic kill and a gun kill in less than 10 seconds while playing as the character. Another Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC which had been leaked prior to this also has its supposed achievements out in the open. Freedom Cry is a single-player pack which will put you in the shoes of Adewale, protagonist Edward Kemway’s first mate from the actual game.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the sixth main installment to the massive series, and this time around, its makers have chosen the piracy era during the eighteenth century as their game’s setting. It’s a next-gen offering, as it’s aimed at the PS4 and Xbox One as well, apart from the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.

We’ll have more on the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC when added details about it are out.
