Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC will bring in new pirate character

There exists a Season Pass for future Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC, and details about it have leaked out before Ubisoft could announce them officially. Apparently, the additional content that will be doled out post-launch will allow gamers to jump into the boots of another new character called Adewale who will take Assassin’s Creed 4 gamers ‘even deeper into the real explosive events of the Golden Age of Pirates.’

That little line is from the description of the Season Pass which has been listed by Best Buy, and was spotted by All Games Beta. It also states that the new Adewale character from the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC will be the first mate of protagonist Edward Kenway. This story-driven content will probably be divided into different episodes, just like Ubisoft had done with AC 3’s add-ons.

Placed at 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,185), the Season Pass promises 20 percent savings off the regular values that will be applied to the concerned Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC. Apart from the Adewale-focused single-player content, multiplayer goodies as well as personalization options will also be making their way into it. The Season Pass is up for pre-order now on Best Buy, and is expected to hit other retailers soon.

This news about the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC comes just days after the game received a full reveal at E3. A next-gen launch title, it is all set to introduce a new storyline to the much acclaimed franchise. Apart from the PS4 and Xbox One, it will also be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC later this year. The PlayStation versions were recently announced to kick in exclusive single-player content featuring AC 3: Liberation’s Aveline.
