Gran Turismo 6 has been showered with a number of pre-order bonuses that interested players can look forward to. Calling it the ‘most extensive and robust pre-order offer’ ever for a game from the GT series, Sony has revealed through the official PlayStation blog that this PS3 game will also be getting a 15th Anniversary Edition filled with additional perks.
First and foremost, those to reserve their copies of Gran Turismo 6 beforehand will receive a 4-car pack for themselves. This bundle includes a BMW Z4 GT3 ’11, a Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 ’13, a Tesla Model S Signature Performance ’13 and a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) ’14. But this is just the start.
Those who decide to place their pre-orders via GameStop will automatically have their Gran Turismo 6 copies upgraded to the 15th Anniversary Edition. This grants them access to 16 unique vehicles (apart from the 4-car pack), customized paint chips, a race suit, a helmet, a PSN Avatar and a copy of Beyond the Apex II app. This list of these 16 vehicles has been included in the space below.
And then there is Amazon which will be offering 1 million USD worth of in-game credit with its pre-orders. Moreover, the above mentioned 4-car pack will also be included with them. All these offers are available in North America only, and now let’s see what Sony has in store for European gamers.
A specially designed 15th Anniversary Steelbook edition will be available for purchase to them. This pack will contain a copy of Gran Turismo 6 with special cover artwork, 1 million USD worth of in-game credit, a set of 20 cars with custom livery and performance enhancement as well as custom paint chips, a custom race suit, a helmet, custom avatars and the Apex II app.
Additionally, depending on the retail outlets, European gamers will get to grab hold of different bonuses on their pre-orders of either the standard edition or the special one. These include the 1 USD million in-game credit or a certain number of cars from the twenty vehicles we’ve listed in the space below.
