Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta Details Out

Ubisoft has revealed crucial information regarding the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier beta which is supposed to go live for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 19, and run until May 2. This multiplayer beta will allow a maximum of twelve players to jump into it by choosing from three classes – Rifleman, Engineer and Scout. Participants will be able to experience two different modes through the beta.

Conflict and Saboteur are the names of the two modes which will be on offer to console gamers. While the former will be playable from the beginning, the latter will only be made available from April 26. Conflict involves player completing a set of objectives spread throughout the map. In Saboteur on the other hand, a bomb is spawned at the center of the map, and both teams must compete to detonate it at their opposing team’s base.

The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier beta will be playable by all those who own copies of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction. And those who have the Xbox 360 version will be able to access the beta directly through the game. Gamers who pre-order the Xbox 360 version of the new game will also be provided with beta keys. Moreover, online beta key giveaways will be organized by Ubisoft.

Apart from all of this, the publisher has also announced a special service for the game, called the Ghost Recon Network. This companion application will be available on smartphones, tablets and web browsers. Apart from allowing gamers to customize their weapons on the go, it will also let them track their own as well as friends’ in-game history. Exclusive in-game rewards too will be on offer for those who access this service.

The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier beta will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 19, 2012, whereas the Ghost Recon Network feature will go live upon the release of this game which is scheduled to take place on May 25.
