The Assassin’s Creed 3 The Hidden Secrets DLC has been released by Ubisoft for the game’s PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions, and can be downloaded now by all those who own its Season Pass. And for those who don’t, it will be made available on December 11 in North America, and on December 13 in Europe. As far as the Wii U edition of the title goes, this content will be launched for it sometime later.
The pack comprises a total of three extra missions in it. Dubbed Lost Mayan Ruins, Ghost of War and Dangerous Secret, these missions were all dished out as pre-order bonuses by certain retailers. This hour-long DLC will reward players with in-game weapons after each successful mission. Moreover, downloading the pack will also grant them two single-player costumes – the fabled Captain of the Aquila and the traditional Colonial Assassin. Moreover, two multiplayer characters named Redcoat and Sharpshooter, will make their way into the game through the Assassin’s Creed 3 The Hidden Secrets DLC as well.
Additional content that is headed the way of this game includes some more single-player gameplay which will be included in The Tyranny of King Washington DLC. Set to portray George Washington as a spoilt leader, this add-on will be doled out in the form of three episodic packs. Besides, fresh maps and characters for the game’s multiplayer component will be added by the newly announced The Battle Hardened pack. This completes the five pieces of DLC promised by Ubisoft to be included in the Season Pass deal.
AC 3 was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in October this year, and for the Wii U and PC in November, and has since been grabbing acclaim for its new features. In our own review, we gave it an Overall score of 8.5/10. And even as gamers continue to play this iteration, speculation of its successor has already started making the rounds. A confidential survey issued by Ubisoft leaked out recently, revealing a possibility that the next game might adopt a co-op approach for its gameplay. No confirmation from the developer has come to the fore as yet.
For now, Season Pass owners can download the Assassin’s Creed 3 The Hidden Secrets DLC for all platforms except the Wii U. Others will be able to download it on the dates we’ve mentioned above.
