Dead Space 3 Confirmed by EA

Following a string of leaks regarding its existence, Dead Space 3 has finally emerged from the shadows. EA has confirmed that the game will be showcased at next week’s E3. There is still an air of uncertainly about which platforms the survival-horror title will be launched onto, but we can expect to get more information through EA when its E3 press conference commences on Monday.

The publisher has confirmed the news to IGN, stating that it is ‘excited’ to unveil the title to the world next week. Yesterday, a number of supposed screenshots had surfaced on the web, making it hard for EA to stay tight-lipped on the game. In April, we saw a South African retailer named BT Games accidentally reveal the title along with NFS: Most Wanted 2. About the latter however, there are still no official details.

Following this leak, the next Dead Space title was listed amongst EA’s blockbuster releases slated to launch within the next twelve months. This information pointed out that both, the new Dead Space game as well as NFS: Most Wanted 2 could come out during March 2013. The second iteration of the Dead Space arrived in early 2011 for multiple platforms. It managed to grab an Overall score of 9.5/10 in our review of it.

We’ll be looking forward to EA’s E3 press conference not only for Dead Space 3, but also for other games and information the publisher will be revealing. And we’ll keep gamers posted with all the important stuff during the show. The video posted above is that of a graphic novel short about the series.
