Sports Champions 2 and DanceStar Party Hits Announced for PS Move

Sony’s PS Move lineup is all set to get a big boost with Sports Champions 2 and DanceStar Party Hits, both of which were revealed by the company yesterday. Slated to release for the PS3 later this year, the two titles are claimed to feature various new additions over their predecessors.

Sports Champions 2 will introduce five new sports to the series, with the sixth one being an enhanced version of the Archery game in the previous title. Boxing, golf, bowling, skiing and tennis are the new sports that will be available to be played using multiple PS Move controllers. It has also been announced that a new Party Mode will form a part of the game, enabling players compete with their friends and family in custom and multi-sport tournaments.

This mode will let them create player profiles, track individual stats and even customize their characters according to their choices. Features retained from the original title include Cup play (solo campaign), Free Play, Challenges (arcade events), online leaderboards and Facebook connectivity. Moreover, this game will also be rendered in full stereoscopic 3D on compatible screens.

DanceStar Party Hits

DanceStar Party Hits will be infused with 40 new tracks, allowing gamers to perform their moves alongside actual stars. It includes music from the likes of Nicki Minaj (Super Bass), The Beach Boys (Fun, Fun, Fun), The Wanted (Glad You Came) and more. A total of 160 bespoke routines will be available within the game, while players would also be able to assume the role of a choreographer in one of its modes. Furthermore, an in-game calorie counter will be present.

The Sports Champions 2 and DanceStar Party Hits price and availability status are yet to the confirmed by Sony.
