Back in April, we reported that Red Dead Redemption would have a cinema ad campaign. Rockstar Games also unveiled a Gunslingers app for Facebook that same month. As far as packs are concerned, the company brought forth ‘Outlaws to the End’ co-op mission pack. Now gamers can download Legends and Killers Pack for Red Dead Redemption.
The newly announced pack extends competitive multiplayer territories with the inclusion of nine new map locations which are weapon-balanced. These features are weapon-balanced and fashioned for team-based as well as free-for-all challenges. Some of the offerings include riverside at Thieves’ Landing and the modern metropolis of Blackwater.
“With Legends & Killers we wanted to provide a wealth of new content for fans of Red Dead Redemption,” commented Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We took care to pick out areas that were unique and exciting and then polished them to provide the best possible multiplayer experience.”
More multiplayer characters come in the form of eight classic personalities plucked right out from 2004’s Red Dead Revolver such as Shadow Wolf, Jack Swift, Red Harlow and Annie Stoakes. A deadly new projectile weapon dubbed as the Tomahawk can be wielded in competitive multiplayer, single-player and free roam modes. Besides packing in gameplay challenges, the offering also provides additional opportunities for acquiring Trophies and Achievements.
Red Dead Redemption’s Legend and Killers Pack is priced at 800 Microsoft Points and 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 466) and can be picked up from Xbox Live or PlayStation Network respectively. Gamers will however require a copy of Red Dead Redemption to enjoy the latest inclusion.
