Red Dead Redemption is noted to be an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego. The sandbox-styled title is scheduled to hit consoles by next month. While gamers wait with bated breath for the game to release, Rockstar Games has introduced an original Facebook application called Red Dead Redemption: Gunslingers.
The title in question here is an RPG social game fashioned specially for Facebook. With this inclusion, members of the social network website can challenge friends or other Facebook members in order to emerge as best gunslinger. Players must design a Western gunslinger identity and opt for a notorious character from three strategic classes. These include Outlaw, Fast Hands and Sharpshooter which represent power, speed and accuracy respectively.
They can then conduct duels with opponents and see the drama play out in a bloody shootout video sequence. Along the way, gamers can also acquire loads of special Achievement distinctions and level up even faster by gathering a group of friends on Facebook. To add to the authenticity, they can also trash talk on the character profile Walls. Via the friends-only and global leaderboards, gamers can show off just who is the meanest gunslinger.
Red Dead Redemption: Gunslingers is currently in the initial beta launch period. Gamers can enjoy the new title from the apps section on the Facebook website.
