Back in April, we had divulged that the game would reportedly have cinema ad campaign for promotional purposes. Even Facebook enthusiasts got a slice of the action as Rockstar unveiled a Gunslinger App for the title. Now Red Dead Redemption is set to get the ‘Outlaws To The End’ Co-Op multiplayer Mission Pack next month.
The upcoming download pack is noted to be just one of three content offerings scheduled to unveil by Rockstar Games. The ‘Outlaws To The End’ includes six new multiplayer missions featuring epic gunfights, revolution for 2 to 4 players and deadly outlaws. Players can take advantage of unlockables like the additional multiplayer XP rewards as well as brand new Achievements and Trophies. They will also be endowed with six epic missions that take place in all corners of the globe.
“Multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption offers players a whole new way to encounter the massive open world we’ve created, but we felt the experience would not be complete without co-op game play. With these missions, we wanted to create new ways for players to share in the experience of engaging with this amazing landscape,” commented Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games.
One of the missions includes ‘The River’ where gamers can ride a raft down river all the while destroying rebel encampments. An epic battle will then play out at the rebel stronghold of Nosalida for the massive weapons caches of the town. Players are however cautioned to keep a keen eye out for Gatling gun-equipped enemy rafts.
‘Walton’s Gold’ is an exciting mission in the pack which allows players to fight their way through the camp while filling their mine cart with gold. They would however have to escape from there quickly as the place will soon be blown to smithereens. In the ‘Ammunition’ mission, players have to storm the gates of the town of Tesoro Azul under sniper fire, Gatling gun and heavy cannon to defeat the Mexican artillery placements.
‘Outlaws To The End’ Co-Op Mission Pack is expected to hit the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network by next month. The company is also offering the pack absolutely free of cost. The other two downloadable content packs will unveil later this summer.
