Transporting mechanical warriors into the gaming domain, Transformers waged the war for Cybertron in June this year. The Transformers War for Cybertron Map and Character Pack further added zing into this battle space. Activision has now announced the availability of the Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Characters Pack 2, taking forward the contest in the war-torn place.
Available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms, this pack encloses two new playable characters and five maps for online multiplayer modes. The league of characters in the title will be accompanied by Zeta Prime and Dead End through this pack. It will allow players to incorporate these characters into the title’s four-player co-op Escalation mode. Besides, gamers can design personal characters for the traditional competitive multiplayer modes by selecting the chassis.
The new Escalation mode map titled Pulse which has been included in the bundle will enable gamers to explore the interior of Deception’s Trypticon and locate central power core. Players can also employ the Static escalation mode map that will drive them into multi-level rooms covered with environmental traps.
From amongst the competitive multiplayer maps, gamers can get an overview of the Iacon city surrounded by wide open courtyards and tight spaces for close quarters combat with Horizon. The pack also embraces Sector and Metropolis maps for multiplayer campaigns. Players can follow open vehicle navigation for dive-bombing jets and long range weapons with the former while the latter will drop them straight into the devastated remains of a building in Iacon.
Xbox 360 players can now lay their hands on the Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Characters Pack 2 from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 MS Points while PS3 owners can procure it from the PlayStation Store at the price of 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 466).
