Third-person shooter, Transformers: War for Cybertron came to us in June this year, and now Activision has announced that a Map and Character Pack for the game is available for download on the Xbox 360 and PS3. This downloadable content pack includes five distinct playable Transformers characters plus four all-new online multiplayer maps.
“The fans have spoken and the response to Transformers: War for Cybertron has been colossal,” David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing said. “Our number one goal since the launch of the game has been to support the rapidly-growing online community, and we recognize the need for these characters and maps to continue the blistering multiplayer gameplay they have come to know and love.”
The downloadable content pack features Scattershot, Onslaught, Shockwave, Demolisher and Jazz as playable characters in the game’s four-player co-op Escalation mode. In addition the chassis of these new characters will be available for selection while creating Transformers characters in competitive multiplayer.
The four new multiplayer maps included in the pack are District, Forsaken, Havok and Fortress. District and Forsaken are playable in Escalation mode while Havok and Fortress provide frenetic gameplay in the game’s competitive multiplayer modes.
The Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Character Pack is available on Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft Points and on the PlayStation Network for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 465).
