If you were eagerly waiting for the next Alone in the Dark game, well, here is a nice piece of news for you! Atari has sent word the forthcoming action survival game, Alone in the Dark for the Sony PS2, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms has gone gold.
Phil Harrison is the president of Infogrames Entertainment. He commented, “With its genre-busting mix of gameplay, wide-screen presentation style and DVD chapter select feature putting the player in control, Alone in the Dark will thrill all gamers. It is a game which will challenge the player but also reward them with an exceptional video game experience and a huge amount of fun.”
Alone in the Dark is set in the richly-detailed and contemporary New York’s Central Park. The game features extraordinary environmental interaction along with combat all based on real-world rules and physics. It also has health recovery system and a flawless on-character inventory.
Alone in the Dark has been developed by Eden Games. It will be out in Europe on June 20, 2008. American gamers will get it four days later, that is on June 24, 2008. The PS3 version of Alone in the Dark was delayed and now will be out in the autumn season of 2008.
