It has become a norm to come out with limited editions of blockbuster games. Many gaming companies are doing this and the numbers just keep on increasing. Now we have Bethesda Softworks, who along with Amazon.com have announced Fallout 3 Survival Edition.
Greg Hart is the VP of video games and software at Amazon. He says, “This is an exciting day for Amazon customers and Fallout fans. We are pleased to be the exclusive destination for Fallout 3 Survival Edition; this is a great example of the continually expanding selection we offer to gamers.”

The Survival Edition offers gamers the unique opportunity to own a piece of video game history along with a collection of limited edition items, it is the definitive Fallout 3 package.”
The Fallout 3 Survival Edition is expected to have a life-size replica of the Pip-Boy 3000, which is a device worn by characters in-game. In fact, the Fallout 3 Survival Edition will have items that are a part of the Fallout 3 Collector’s Edition. Here is the list:

Fallout 3 Survival Edition will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC versions of the game. As of now, the action role playing game is under development at Bethesda Game Studios and is scheduled to be out in the fall season of 2008. However, you can exclusively pre-order the game on Amazon.
