Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 has been released as a part of the 8-bit summer promotions happening with each week’s Nintendo downloadable games. It is accompanied by another Game Boy classic named Mole Mania, while other games that have been launched for Nintendo devices include Planet Crashers, Dot Runner: Complete Edition, Decathlon 2012 and the 1995 Arcade title, World Heroes Perfect.
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, which was first released for the Game Boy in 1994, makes its 3DS debut with this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. It sells on the eShop at 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 220). Mole Mania is said to be one of lesser known works of legendary game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto. This puzzler can be bought for the 3DS at a price of 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 165).
Planet Crashers is a new game for the handheld, and is a sci-fi adventure RPG selling on the eShop at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 550). Nintendo has announced that it will be offering discounts on past Mario games for the 3DS in the run up to the launch of the much anticipated New Super Mario Bros. 2. This week’s deal is on the iconic Super Mario Bros. which is being sold for a dollar less than its actual price till August 1, placing it at 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 220).
And then there’s also the Game of the Weekend promotion which is offering a discount on the Colors! 3D app, taking its price down to 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 220) till July 29. A new game titled Dot Runner: Complete Edition also hits the eShop this week for the 3DS. Described as a dot-eater action game, it asks players to devour dots that appear in dungeons within the given time limits. It is priced at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 275).
Decathlon 2012 is an athletics video game for the DS containing 10 disciplines of the sport, a training mode and a competition for the gold medal. It can be purchased now through the DSi Shop at 500 Points. The final title in this week’s Nintendo downloadable games is the yesteryear classic, World Heroes Perfect. Available for the Wii under the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop Channel, this game can be purchased now in exchange for 900 Points.
