PES 2014 has been granted an official release date by Konami which plans on launching the football game on September 20 in the UK. Furthermore, this Xbox 360, PS3 and PC title will be coming out in North America on September 24. FIFA 14 on the other hand, will be seen hitting markets the week later. Konami has announced that a console demo version for the new PES game will be coming out a week prior to its launch.
This demo will be representative of the full offering, and will come equipped with a number of different teams that will be seen squaring off in full match scenarios. Moreover, it will also contain a tutorial for getting players used to the new controls. This demo is to land on PSN on September 11, while it will be made available through Xbox Live a day later.
A number of DLC elements have also been highlighted by Konami in its newest press release. Those who pre-order PES 2014 from select retailers will receive DLC codes for exclusive Classic European and Latin American kits aimed at sides like Benfica, Manchester United, AS Roma and AC Milan.
This game will also be made available digitally through PSN for the PS3. Those who pre-order or purchase it using this platform will gain access to limited edition DLC containing third kits for teams like Manchester United and Juventus, as well as various Latin American 3rd kits.
PES 2014 is being developed currently using Kojima’s Fox Engine, making it the first ever game to utilize this technology. A number of fresh additions have been made to this title by its developers, and these include its new True Ball Tech, its Motion Animation Stability System and more.
