From March 11 onwards, Best Buy will be selling the new NBA 2K12 Game of the Year Edition, which will be made available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 at a revised price. A few days back, another deal for this title was announced by 2K Sports in the form of the MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack which sets sail on March 6 exclusively for the Xbox 360.
The GotY edition of the latest NBA game will be made available in the U.S. only for a limited period. Apart from a copy of the title, it will also comprise the previously released Legends Showcase DLC which was outed through Xbox Live and PSN during the end of November, last year. Moreover, commemorative posters featuring Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird will form a part of this pack as well.
“We’re always committed to giving our fans great value. This is a great opportunity to not only get your hands on NBA 2K12, but the terrific Legend’s Showcase content as well. Gamers and basketball fans alike will love this package,” revealed Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports.
Originally outed for retail in October, 2011, this title is said to have been bestowed with a total of 26 Sports Game of the Year awards. Its Legends Showcase add-on provides gamers with the choice of selecting from more than 300 of NBA’s all-time greatest players. It also includes a number of minigames that can be jumped into by these veterans.
Upon its release for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the NBA 2K12 Game of the Year Edition will sell at a price of 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,470).
