After unveiling the game’s Radnet Edition, developer Radical Entertainment has thrown out details about a new Prototype 2 Blackwatch Collector’s Edition. This limited version of the title will comprise a host of additional features as well as all the offerings that are included in the Radnet Edition.
It will consist of the game’s first DLC pack which is named Colossal Mayhem. An official soundtrack CD and an exclusive hardbound art book about the title would form a part of the Collector’s Edition as well. Moreover, it would also offer gamers the Dark Horse Digital Comic named Prototype: The Labrinth and a 20 percent discount voucher that will be redeemable at Prototype merchandise stores.
Ken Rosman, Studio Head, Radical Entertainment, commented, “When we initially began discussing the idea of creating a collector’s edition for Prototype 2, we knew right off the bat that it would have to be something special for our most hardcore fans — the ones who finished the original game multiple times; those who constantly debate whether Mercer or Heller is the more badass character; the ones who are eagerly waiting to jump in feet first and experience all that Prototype 2 has to offer.”
Besides, the Radnet Edition which will be made available in limited quantities on launch day would come bundled with a one-time use code that will proffer players with access to 55 free pieces of additional content. These downloadables will be delivered to them for seven weeks after the release of the highly anticipated game.
Prototype 2 Blackwatch Collector’s Edition will arrive on store shelves on April 24, 2012. It can be pre-ordered currently at a price of 79.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,950).
