Tiger Wood PGA Tour 12: The Masters Demo Coming Next Month

Back in January, EA Sports divulged that Rhys Davies has been roped in as a brand ambassador for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters. The gaming giant has now disclosed that the demo of the next installment in the popular golf series will be out next month. Like other demos in the terrain, this one too is expected to extend a glimpse of the full game while unfolding the springtime traditional action on the Augusta National Golf Club.

The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters demo has been designed to create a simulating experience for gamers as they swing the putter for sliding the ball into a hole across luscious green courses. In the title, famous announcer Jim Nantz is said to make his presence felt as gamers climb the leaderboard in the boots of Tiger Woods. Additionally, David Feherty will accompany Nantz in the commentary box for covering The Masters championship.

Enthusiasts can plunge into the epic moment of grabbing the trophy at the Augusta National’s par-4 18th through the Play Now setting. The Road to the Masters mode will allow them to play holes 1 – 5 at TPC San Antonia Oaks Course. Further, the completion of the game across these five holes will enable players to sidestep the EA Sports Amateur Tour in the full retail version, unlocking their route directly towards the Nationwide Tour.

PlayStation 3 users can derive an even gratifying experience as the demo has been crafted with Move compatibility. Transforming the motion controller into a golf club, gamers will be able to obtain a first person vantage point through the sneak peep’s True View mode. Besides, the demo also offers information about the competition, the new career mode, Caddie/Course Mastery and other features. Those who share it with others also stand a chance to bag additional XP.

The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters demo will go live on March 8, 2011. The full game has been slated to hit stores across North America on March 29, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Its release in other parts of the world is due on April 1, 2011.
