EA created quite a stir when it recently announced that Madden NFL 10 had officially gone gold. Now, the American publisher has announced that a playable demo of the football game will be exclusively available for Xbox Live Gold members this week. The demo will be available through the Xbox Live Marketplace a week before it is available anywhere else.
The demo will feature a 4 quarter match between Dallas Cowboys and home team New York Giants in a night game under heavy snow. Inside Xbox on Xbox Live will have some exclusive previews and interviews which fans can check out on July 30, 2009. Also included will be an interview with Phil Frazier, Senior Producer of EA Sports for Madden NFL 10 along with the game’s full preview on August 10, 2009.
Madden NFL 10 will fully immerse fans in its TV broadcast-style presentation and brand new game modes such as the Online Co-op and Online Franchise modes. It is the most comprehensive installment in the franchise yet and will feature the new Pro-Tak animation technology which will allow gamers more control over the end result of each play.
The demo version of Madden NFL 10 will be available to Xbox Live Gold members through the Xbox Live Marketplace for free on July 23, 2009. Xbox Live Silver members can expect to play the demo on July 30, 2009. The full game is expected to release on August 14, 2009 and is developed by Tiburon.
