First up for the WiiWare service is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord. She uses traps and monsters to prevent pesky adventurers from destroying the Dark Crystal present on the top floor. The Darklord’s daughter is willing to use dangerous artifacts such as monsters and traps and will stop at nothing until she has conquered all of the land. The second game for WiiWare is 5 Spots Party published by Cosmonaut Games. Up to 4 users can take part in any of the three different play modes offered in the game. The basic idea of the game is to find the most number of differences in the displayed pictures. In the party modes, gamers have to try and find as many errors as possible. While in the 1-Player mode, a player has to fight against the clock and unearth as many differences as they possibly can. 5 Spots Party can be purchased by redeeming 500 Wii Points.

This week’s third addition to WiiWare is Battle Poker. As the name suggests, this is a card game where the object is to make the best five-card hand possible. Points are awarded on the basis of the quality of each hand and the battle is played across several rounds. The Wii Remote can be used to point and select cards from a standard deck on the screen. Once a card is flipped over by the first click, it can be snatched by any of the other players, so players need to be real quick if they plan on winning the game with the best hand possible. Battle Poker is published by Left Field Productions and is available for 800 Wii Points. Up to four players can enjoy this fast paced poker game.
