Very little is known about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which is slated to release worldwide on November 10, 2009. Some time ago we heard that the Prestige version of the Collector’s Edition would come with actual night vision goggles.
Now IGN is reporting that there is speculation that, a new controller which is going to be specially designed for Modern Warfare 2 is in development. Apparently, Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling revealed via Twitter that the developer is considering a new controller.
“In a design meeting for a #MW2 controller. Need your advice – Concave or Convex grips for the Analog sticks? Whats your preference and why?” the community guru says in a tweet.
The post teases fans of the series, and many possibilities are hypothesized such as whether the new controller will be available at retail or only in one of the limited edition bundles. Expect to hear more about this as we approach game launch.
