EA’s Madden NFL 10 goes Gold

EA had earlier revealed that Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald would feature on the cover of Madden NFL 10. Now, EA Sports has announced that the eagerly awaited American football game, Madden NFL 10 has officially gone gold. As part of the celebration, fans will get two separate opportunities to play the game before it release this August.

Gamers who pre order their copy at GameStop will receive an exclusive demo on July 23, 2009 which will feature 4 quarters of five minutes each in a Super Bowl XLIII rematch between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The free demo of the game will be available at the PlayStation Store and for Xbox Live Silver users on July 30, 2009.

The latest installment in the Madden NFL series will feature the Pro-Tak animation technology that will give players more control over the result of each play which would now end only when the whistle is blown. Many improvements have been made in the online mode and the game also has the most comprehensive broadcast presentation yet.

The American football game will arrive on the Wii and will give users a sporting experience to remember. Its unique art style, new player models and the 32 featured NFL fields will have eager fans beaming with joy.

Madden NFL 10 is developed by Tiburon and is slated to release on August 14, 2009. It will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, and Wii systems, while the pricing details have not been announced.
