2K Sports has sneakily disclosed information about their MLB 2K series. They have apparently hinted at the possibility of The Bigs 2, a sequel to the arcade baseball title The Bigs. Also, rumor has it that this game will be out as early as summer of 2009.
America’s favorite pastime comes back to home base with The Bigs 2. We hear that the biggies of baseball will be stepping up to face the pitcher in this installment catering to a baseball driven world. The likes of Wade Boggs, Roberto Clemente, Reggie Jackson and Ozzie Smith are featured among other Hall of Famers in the trailer showcased in the recently released MLB 2K9.
So far, we can’t say which platforms the game will be released on, although it seems most likely to be the Xbox 360 and the PS3. It is also not known whether a Wii version of the The Bigs 2 is being made.
