Soccer fever will grip Microsoft’s online service as Sensible World of Soccer will be available this week on the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA). Joining the football game on the XBLA will be the intense shooter game, Tempest.
Sensible World of Soccer is similar to the original game that was released in the mid-nineties as it is available now in high-def. Gamers will be able to challenge their friends over Xbox Live and will also be able to play the game Solo in Career mode. They can also flex their managerial muscles by leading a team to the Champions league. Sensible World of Soccer comes with a helpful tutorial mode.
The other game, Tempest is a true classic! The intense shooter game not only requires skill but also lightning quick reflexes. Gamers use the firepower to shoot and obliterate enemy packs in a frantic clash for survival across fluorescent geometric battlefields. The game features the original and enhanced gameplay modes.
Sensible World of Soccer will be published by Codemasters Online. It will cost 800 Microsoft Points and will be available worldwide (except in Korea). As for Tempest, the game costs 400 Microsoft Points and will be available worldwide (except Korea and Japan).
