Missile Command, Asteroids and Tempest hitting the XBLA

After the release of games like Worms and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) has been a little quiet. However, this condition will not remain for long as Asteroids, Missile Command and Tempest will soon be landing on the Xbox 360.

Missile Command on XBLA

The news broke out when CVG checked out with the ESRB website and found that these three retro titles had been cleared. Missile Command was first released as an arcade game by Atari in 1980 while Asteroids came a little earlier in 1979. Tempest is a tube shooter originally designed and programmed by David Theurer. The game was launched in 1980 by Atari and since then spawned a lot of sequels and ports.
