Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Now Available for PSP

Recently Konami revealed the release date for MGS Peace Walker while Sony announced a limited edition PSP bundle. Now Konami has announced the launch of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on the PSP. The game picks up where MGS3 left off and gives players control of the famed Naked Snake. The game takes place in a 1974 cold war setting and takes the series to exciting new depths with amazing visuals and a design specifically for the PSP system.

“This stunning new title from Hideo Kojima and his Tokyo-based Kojima Productions team will amaze both Metal Gear fans and new gamers alike,” stated Shinji Hirano, president of Konami Digital Entertainment. “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a spectacular stealth title that brings the action and thrill of a console game to the PSP system taking an interesting turn in the Metal Gear Solid saga.”

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker features a blend of action RPG and real-time strategy elements squeezed through a gripping storyline. New AI weapons are added and the game gets four-player CO-OPS as well as three-against-three battles possible due to the console’s Ad-Hoc ability.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has been developed exclusively for the PSP system and is now available across the US for a suggested retail price of 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,880). A downloadable version of the game is also available, as are camouflage hardware PSP system bundles.
