Sega Announces Yakuza 4 for the US

Yakuza 4 is the action adventure video game from Sega which serves as a sequel to Yakuza 3 released in February last year. Now we have word by way of the Sega Blogs that Yakuza 4 is heading to the US. The blog post confirms the release of Yakuza 4 exclusively for the PS3 in the spring of 2011.

Yakuza 4 adds three new playable characters and each has a very distinguished personality and fighting style. All three new characters have links to the Tojo clan and one aspect of what makes things interesting is what their connections to the Tojo clan are, and what they mean in reference to a man named Kazuma Kiryu.

Yakuza 4 was released for a Japanese audience on March 18, 2010. The game is developed by Sega Japan’s CS1 Team and is published by Sega exclusively for the PS3 system. North American and European fans just got Yakuza 3 this March and will probably have to wait almost a year before they can get their hands on a copy of Yakuza 4.
