Though Microsoft’s current generation console is not that popular in Japan, one Xbox 360 title is very popular there. It is known as The Idolmaster and is a simulation game. Now video games blog Kotaku is reporting that Namco Bandai will be bringing out an Idolmaster to the PlayStation Portable.
Information about the Idolmaster PSP first appeared in Famitsu. THE iDOLM@STER, as it is known officially, will come in three versions. All the versions of Idolmaster PSP, Wondering Star, Missing Moon and Perfect Sun will feature ten idols who star in the series.
Idolmaster for the PSP is expected to be out later this year in winter. The simulation game features a new mail check system in which gamers can even check the email from magazine writers, stylists and fans of the idol. The original Idolmaster game was first released on the Xbox Live Arcade in Japan two years ago.
