Metal Gear Acid for PSN Possible: Hideo Kojima

The twelfth day of June has come and gone! Fans of the Metal Gear Solid series got what they had been eagerly waiting for, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. But now the attention shifts to the other Metal Gear games! Hideo Kojima has mentioned that Metal Gear Acid for the PlayStation Network is possible.

Creator of the Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima spoke to gaming news website Eurogamer.net about the possibility of porting the turn-based strategy titles to PSN and explained, “I’ll say yes to that idea, but not because it is already running or anything. I am just saying yes because it is possible, I think it is possible. Sorry to say we don’t have specific plans at the moment, but it is possible, yes.”

Metal Gear Acid was first released on the PSP in 2004 in Japan. The game was then launched in other regions. The second game in the series, Metal Gear Acid 2, was released a year later. The games feature Solid Snake and Kojima Productions has even come up with a mobile version of the game. It would be nice to see Metal Gear Acid on the PSN.
