Moreover, North American PS Plus subscribers will also be getting a 20 percent discount on the game, which will take its price down to 11.99 USD (approx. Rs 720). No such discount has been revealed for European regions. Octodad originally started off as a small project by a group of students but its popularity reached levels which convinced the developers to bring a sequel titled Octodad: Dadliest Catch to PC, Mac and Linux in January this year.

With this PS4 release, the game will be making its console debut. Phil Tibitoski has revealed through a post on the official PlayStation blog that apart from the main game’s offerings, a lot of new additions based on fan feedback have made their way into this version. It is compatible with the PS Move accessory as well as its Nav controller which is the best setup to play this game. There’s a unique local co-op mode included in the PS4 version which allows two players to use their Move accessories to control the protagonist.

Like we said, Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be out for the PS4 next week at the above mentioned prices.
