Flower, Flow, Escape Plan, Sound Shapes coming to PS4, free for existing owners

Sony has just announced that it will be bringing hit current-gen titles Flower, Flow, Escape Plan and Sound Shapes to the PS4 at the console’s launch, and what’s interesting is that they will go for free to all those who own their PS3 or PS Vita versions currently. That makes them Cross Buy games meaning if you purchase them for any PlayStation platform, they will be available for other machines at no additional cost.

It has been revealed through the official PlayStation blog that Flower will be released for the PS4 as well as the PS Vita on November 15. Those who will own the PS4 console will be able to experience the game in 1080p resolution and that too, at 60fps thanks to its updated visuals.

thatgamecompany’s Flow will also be making a jump onto the PS Vita and the PS4. It will be launched for both the platforms on November 29. Escape Plan on the other hand, will be making its big screen debut when it will be released for the PS4 on November 29. Its makers have tweaked its controls for suiting the DualShock 4 setup.

Lastly, Sound Shapes, the much admired musical platformer from last year will also be launched for the PS4, albeit on November 15. Like we said, these are all Cross Buy games. Once they’re bought for the PS3, PS4 or the PS Vita you’ll be able to download them for the two remaining platforms free of cost.

And it is hence that current owners of Flower, Flow, Escape Plan and Sound Shapes will find their PS Store accounts already loaded with PS4 copies of these titles.
