Journey Collector’s Edition Confirmed to Contain Flower, Flow and ‘Much More’

Lots of buzz has been surrounding the Journey Collector’s Edition in the past few weeks, but new information coming in today points out that it will come packed with a number of other bonuses which include a PS Plus subscription and more. Developer thatgamecompany had earlier confirmed that this collection would comprise Flower as well as Flow.

An advertisement from the upcoming issue of the Official PlayStation magazine was snapped by the OPM website, revealing all the other contents that will be included within the Collector’s Edition. Apart from the three games, it will apparently also kick in a PS Plus membership, all three original soundtracks, exclusive minigames, documentaries and ‘much more.’

While this collection was officially teased at the E3, further details about it were extremely scarce till now. Journey was launched for the PS3 in March this year, and received considerable acclaim for its adventure gameplay. This title even features a unique co-op mechanism which allows gamers to interact with other players from around the world, without talking to them via text or speech.

thatgamecompany had released Flow in 2006 for the PS3 as well as the PSP. The game involved players navigating through two-dimensional planes with an aquatic microorganism that evolved by consuming other microorganisms. In 2009 came Flower, another visually unique game which had players controlling the wind in order to blow a flower petal through the air.

The Journey Collector’s Edition is yet to be officially unveiled by Sony. If the image above is to be believed then it is sure to contain a number of goodies apart from the three games.
