Worms: Ultimate Mayhem DLC Coming to PSN Tomorrow

The PSN version of Worms: Ultimate Mayhem is all geared up to welcome new content in the form of the fresh Single-player Pack which will be outed through the service tomorrow. Apart from a number of other features, this DLC also kicks in a new multiplayer map and a total of six Trophies for gamers to earn.

The Single-player Pack will introduce fresh features to the game’s challenge modes, with eight single-player challenges such as Sniper, Jet Pack, Super Sheep, Shotgun, Accuracy, Navigation, Crate Collect and Deathmatch. The name of the new multiplayer map that makes its way into the DLC is ‘All Systems Oh No.’

This game was launched for the PS3 via PSN in February this year, while its Xbox 360 and PC releases took place in September last year. It is actually a re-release of Worms 4: Mayhem with improved graphics. It kicks in the traditional turn-based gameplay of the series, and proffers players with over 70 missions and challenges, online and local multiplayer support as well as five different multiplayer modes for them to dive into.

Recently, developer Team17 also went on to announce a new title in the much loved Worms series. Dubbed Worms Revolution, this offering is slated to launch for PC and consoles during Q3 of 2012. It is claimed to have been developed from the ground up, and thus it has been cleared that it isn’t any kind of expansion to the previous titles.

The Worms: Ultimate Mayhem DLC which will hit PSN tomorrow with a price tag of 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 260).
