Sports Champions 2 is all set to have a rendezvous with Assassin’s Creed 3 on retail shelves, as it will be launched for the PS3 on the same date as the latter game. October 30 is the North American release date for the upcoming PS Move title which builds upon its earlier version by adding 5 new sports while also introducing an enhanced version of archery.

Sony has revealed that final touches are being given to Sports Champions 2 currently as it gears up for its launch. It also unveiled the new Avatar Creator feature from this game. Apparently, this trait has it has surpassed the expectations of its developers, who have already started contemplating upon post-release support for the same in order to make it even better.
Jeremy Ray, Producer, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, shared on the official PlayStation blog, “We are also getting a ton of great feedback on Skiing, Boxing, Tennis, Golf, Bowling, and the new Archery. Just like with SC1, everyone seems to have their personal favorite. While my personal favorite in SC1 was Bocce, I’ll wait until SC2”²s been out for a bit before making that call for the sequel.”
“Party Play keeps getting better and better, too. I really hope this takes off, as it’s been a blast to make. Thanks to the tremendous talent of Zindagi for making this possible, with big time improvements on core systems ”” like the removal of three point calibration,” Ray added.
The new sports that will be comprised within the title include boxing, golf, bowling, skiing and tennis, all of which will be available to be played using multiple PS Move controllers. The original title was release back in September 2010, and grabbed quite some appreciation for its motion-based gameplay.
Sports Champions 2 will be released for the PS3 in North American territories on October 30, 2012. It can be pre-ordered now at a price of 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,230).
