While owners of Uncharted 3 acquired the Starhawk Public Beta voucher, the official PlayStation blog revealed that the Starhawk Private Beta would unveil across the PSN on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. The Private Beta keys for the same will be extended to a certain number of loyal Warhawk players who have specifically asked for receiving PlayStation emails. They can expect a voucher invitation in the forthcoming weeks.
As SCEA suggests, the Private Beta will be ‘slow rolled’ which means that more gamers as well as newly-added features would unveil as it progresses. The early birds will be able to play Capture the Flag across a few maps. The company further reveals that games can be found through its Matchmaker system or Game Lists where players can opt for their own game server. After indulging in gameplay, feedback is welcome by the company.
The blog further goes on to say that SCEA will ‘unlock the door for registered players later on in the Private Beta’. Fans of Starhawk wishing to receive an invite for the beta are encouraged to register on the company’s official website. Starhawk is noted to be a third-person shooter that is slated to release exclusively on the PS3.
As mentioned earlier, the owners of Uncharted 3 who have acquired the Starhawk Public Beta voucher with the game can gain access early 2012. These players would reportedly enjoy more game modes, weapons, features, guns and other general elements. Just last month, Starhawk was revealed at PAX and apparently received a good response from attendees.
