It’s been quite a wait for gamers who pre-ordered Payday – The Heist which got delayed earlier this month, but news is that this title has finally been made available for the PS3 through this week’s PS Store update. The PlayStation blog announced yesterday, the release of many other games including the likes of Okabu, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, Dead Space, Dungeon Defenders as well as a demo of Need For Speed: The Run.
Payday – The Heist is a first person shooter that allows gamers to play with three other live or A.I. co-op partners. A digital version of the acclaimed shooter Dead Space also retails on PSN currently alongside other titles like Sam and Max: Beyond Time And Space – Full Season and Ridge Racer 7: 3D License Ver. All four of these games can be downloaded at a price of 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 987).
The much talked about Okabu has also been released for the PS3. It apparently contains puzzles, adventures, adorable creatures and destructive machines, all fitted into a tactile toy-box world. This game along with Dungeon Defenders, which is a tower defense RPG, retails at 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 740). Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken has also been launched with this week’s PS Store update and is now available for 11.99 USD (approx. Rs. 592).
Other newly released titles include Beat Hazard Ultra and Real Steel which can be downloaded by gamers for the PS3 at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 493) each. Apart from the Need For Speed: The Run demo, players can also access free demo versions of Payday – The Heist, Beat Hazard Ultra, Okabu, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, Sam and Max: Beyond Time And Space, Dungeon Defenders, Real Steel and Everybody Dance.
With the launch of Batman: Arkham City, comes the Catwoman Bundle which can be purchased from PSN at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 493). The Sims 3 Pets Online Pass also retails at the same price. Other titles which get their DLCs this week comprise SOCOM 4, Yoostar 2, Rocksmith, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Furthermore, this week’s PSP releases consist of minis like 1000 Tiny Claws, The Treasures Of Montezuma, Street Smart and Speedball 2 Evolution. A Valkyria Chronicles II PSP Bundle Pack can now be downloaded at 22.49 (approx. Rs. 1,110).
Gamers who wish to purchase Payday – The Heist which was released through this week’s PS Store update can logon to their PSN accounts and download it for 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 987). Other games mentioned above too can be purchased now for the PS3 and PSP.
